This night is endless.

The young are grass.

I began this painting during the period of the covid lockdown. But over time it mutated. Now it seems to me that it is an unhappy reflection on wars, where it is often the young who are sacrificed.

But it could also be taken as something more positive, that even in dark times, the young seem gathered in their flocks, and represent a future, no matter how uncertain.
